Your new company is partnering with a well-established and successful organisation based near Wolverhampton city centre. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.

Your new role involves playing a key role within a collaborative and experienced finance function. This is a varied position offering exposure to multiple areas of accounts, including:

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely posting
  • Recording and monitoring stock movements
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Posting and allocating customer receipts and debtor payments
  • Supporting monthly bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and filing systems
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the wider finance team
  • Assisting with credit control during periods of holiday cover
  • Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters
