Your new company is a UK leading infrastructure company based in Witney, seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant. This role offers 3 days working from home.
In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable Manager and take ownership of maintaining accurate financial records. You will manage the full purchase ledger process alongside a small team, ensuring invoices are processed and paid on time while handling supplier queries quickly and professionally. It's a key opportunity for someone who enjoys a work-life balance and keeping operations running smoothly.
Your new role:
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve payment and invoice queries.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Produce BACS payment runs and manage urgent CHAPS payments.
- Manage unallocated cash, company credit cards, and staff expense payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements, including use of AI tools.
- Carry out account analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
- Support the finance team with a range of ad-hoc tasks as required.
What you will need to succeed:
- Prior experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Assistant role.
- CIS experience is desirable, but not essential (Training can be provided).
- A motivated, enthusiastic team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Resilient and determined, with the ability to go the extra mile when needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
