Your new companyThis is a large and well-known UK-based hotel and leisure group who are looking to recruit a UK Tax Manager to take over tax compliance for the group. The business own and manages a number of different hotels across the UK, and has a large finance team based out of their head office alongside this role. The business are highly acquisitive, and offer an interesting and complex workload and plenty of career progression. Your new role The position will see you take the lead and manage all aspects of corporate tax across UK business. This will include group reporting, compliance and advisory matters, liaising with HMRC and Big-4 advisors, managing M&A integration, identifying and implementing system improvements, and assisting with wider tax matters when they arise. The majority of the role will be compliance focused, and comes with the management of an experienced tax accountant within the team. What you’ll need to succeed This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist CT Manager with strong experience to take the next step in their career. You will be a tax compliance expert, with a proven track record of managing HMRC relationships, and ideally have gained corporate tax experience from a company operating in a regulated industry. Ideally, you will be CTA qualified and have trained with top-10 accountancy practice. What you’ll get in return This role offers an excellent range of benefits and flexibility for the right person, including a salary between £65k and £75k, 25 days holiday which rises with years of service, a discretionary bonus based off company/individual performance, hybrid working (2 days per week in Altrincham), and does offer the option for someone to work 4 days per week.
