Your new company An exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll ll take ownership of the monthly payroll process while supporting wider finance activities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
This position would suit someone with previous payroll experience, ideally in a stand-alone role.
Working
Pattern: 0.846 FTE, working 4 days per week plus one additional Friday each month to coincide with payroll processing.
Your new role Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, statutory payments and pension administration.
Ensure compliance with HMRC, PAYE, RTI, pension legislation and GDPR requirements, maintaining accurate payroll records and audit trails.
Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations, control account reviews and management reports, ensuring payroll costs are accurately reflected within the general ledger.
Support month-end, year-end, audit and budgeting activities, providing payroll and pension data and documentation as required.
Act as the first point of contact for payroll and pension queries, delivering a professional and responsive service to employees and managers.
Work closely with Finance, HR and external stakeholders to support the efficient delivery of payroll, pension and finance services.
