Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

Your new company \\nA dynamic and innovative hospitality and events management company specialising in creating exceptional corporate experiences for professional service clients. \\n\\nYour new role \\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to manage customer invoicing, track incoming payments, and ensure timely collections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts, addressing billing disputes, and ensuring accurate financial records.

This role is crucial in managing cash flow and maintaining strong customer relationships.\\nKey responsibilities\\n\\nDaily Tasks:\\n\\nGenerate and send invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution\\nAssess and update customer credit limits based on payment history and financial review\\nProduce Bank Reconciliation spreadsheet for Santander, JPM and Online Credit Cards\\nApply payments to the correct customer accounts and invoices in the accounting system\\nGenerate and Send Deposit Exception Report\\nWeekly Tasks:\\n\\nProduce Weekly Aged Debtor Report Each Monday\\nReview the Accounts Receivable (AR) Ageing Report to track overdue accounts and prioritise collection efforts. Escalate significantly overdue accounts to Sales Owner/ EPM or Management and recommend next steps for collections.\\nFollow up with customers regarding outstanding balances, working to secure payments.\\nMonthly Tasks:\\n\\nGenerate and send customer account statements to provide visibility into balances due.\\nReconcile the AR ledger with the General Ledger, ensuring accurate financial records.\\nAnalyse and report on ageing receivables, identifying trends in late payments.\\nHandling Overdue Accounts & Dispute Resolution:\\n\\nEscalate delinquent accounts to collections or legal if unresolved within a reasonable timeframe.\\nMaintain clear documentation of customer communications and payment commitments.\\nCollaborate with the sales team to address ongoing customer credit and payment issues.\\nExperience required\\n\\n10 Years+ of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control/Billing, preferably within a high-volume environment.\\nProven ability to work with financial systems and AR software.\\nExperience in managing customer relations and resolving disputes.\\n\\nWhat you need to do now\\nIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.\\nIf this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.\\n\\nHays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
