Your new company Our client is a rapidly expanding private equity backed Group business with ambitious growth plans. The organisation benefits from experienced Directors within their field which creates a unique culture within the business. We are assisting with the appointment of a talented Purchasing Administrator to join their Commercial team based in Carlisle. Reporting to the Procurement Director, you will be responsible for a wide variety of buying needs across the organisation. Ranging from office supplies to technical products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and grow with an organisation that values and encourages progression. Your new role This varied role will involve buying goods and services for day-to-day operations. It will include negotiating prices, placing orders, expediting deliveries, validating invoices and supplier reporting and spend analysis. You will be supported and coached throughout the role as you learn the products, processes and develop your skills in procurement and supply chain management. You will be speaking to a large range of both internal colleagues and our suppliers to ensure we are providing a great service to our customers and getting the job done. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
