Your new company is a prestigious international legal firm based in Central London. They are well-established, with an excellent reputation in the industry and amongst their clients. They are looking for a Payroll Manager on a 6-month contract to support the team during a transformation project.
Your new role includes:
- Ensuring that HR data is captured timely, accurately, and consistently while maintaining integrity.
- Processing three payrolls (for staff, partners, and trainee maintenance).
- Onboarding new joiners' details including HMRC details.
- Entering monthly changes including salary changes, allowances, overtime, recruitment awards, absence management (including unpaid leave, maternity leave), and commissions.
- Calculating leavers' payments and processing P45s.
- Downloading and processing tax codes and student loan information from HMRC.
- Processing instructions from the Tax team for seconded employees.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
- At least 5 years of payroll experience.
- Knowledge of payroll software.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ADP.
What you’ll get in return:
- 9.30am to 5.30pm but flexibility is a must, particularly during billing week.
