Your new company This well respected public sector based in Middlesbrough has a need for an experienced Payroller to join the team working as part of a Payroll Bureau. Your new role This is a full-time, permanent role working as part of a busy payroll team. The post holder will work on the payroll bureau team and will manage their own portfolio of clients processing their payrolls from start to finish using the Sage payroll system. Experience of the Sage payroll system would be an advantage for this post, but is not essential. The payroll bureau offers a payroll and pension service to public sector organisations nationwide. Experience of education payrolls, Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and Teacher Pension Scheme (TPS) would be an advantage but is not essential. All candidates are expected to have a good understanding of UK payroll legislation and calculations, including National Insurance contributions, PAYE tax, and pensions in relation to payroll queries.
