I am working with a well-established Trust to recruit a Finance Officer to support their busy finance team. This is a full-time temporary opportunity with an immediate start, perfect for an experienced finance or administration professional looking for their next role within education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process purchase invoices, orders, and supplier payments
- Support sales ledger and credit control activities
- Carry out bank reconciliations and financial transactions
- Assist with payroll administration and expense claims
- Maintain accurate financial records and finance systems
- Respond to finance-related queries from schools and suppliers
- Support month-end processes and ensure compliance with financial procedures
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Previous finance, accounts, or finance administration experience
- Good knowledge of Excel and financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
- School or education sector experience is desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
