An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trusts Assistant Manager / Manager to join a well-established firm's Private Client Team. This role involves managing a portfolio of trusts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and working closely with medium and high-net-worth individuals on all aspects of their personal tax affairs. Although hybrid working is preferred, the firm may consider fully remote for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a Trusts Assistant Manager / Manager, you will play a vital part in delivering expert estate administration support and trust advisory services. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of trusts, overseeing administration and compliance.
- Reviewing annual trust accounts and tax returns using specialist accounting software.
- Advising trustees on asset management, inheritance tax calculations, and returns.
- Drafting trustee minutes and resolutions in accordance with legal requirements.
- Collaborating with partners and colleagues to provide seamless client service.
