Your new organisation is well-established, employee-focussed with flexible working policies. They are looking for an experienced Head of IA to start within the next few months.
The role leads the internal audit function, setting and delivering the risk‑based audit strategy, managing and developing the audit team, and providing independent assurance to senior leadership, the Audit Committee, and the Risk & Compliance Committee. You would also chair the Internal Risk Management Committee, oversee the Corporate Risk Register, and ensure compliance with Global Internal Audit Standards along with overseeing a small team.
We’re seeking someone with experience leading an internal audit function or senior audit team, strong knowledge of governance and risk frameworks, and the ability to influence at senior levels. A professional qualification (CMIIA, CIA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential; regulated industry experience is a plus.
A salary between £75,000 - £95,000, hybrid working with fantastic benefits as well as incredible developmental opportunities to lead an established team.
