Your new role is as a Part-Time Finance Manager in Nailsea, Bristol. This is a part-time, office-based position with flexible hours (30-35 hrs).

The Opportunity
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and strong financial controls across the business. Working closely with the leadership team, you'll provide key financial information that helps drive commercial performance and support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company's financial and management accounts
- Oversee accounts payable processes and supplier payments
- Process monthly payroll
- Carry out job costing and monitor project profitability
- Manage subcontractor orders and purchase orders
- Produce cash flow forecasts and perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial reports and management information
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial and industry regulations
- Support business planning through detailed financial analysis and reporting
What you'll need to succeed

Essential Experience & Skills:
- Previous finance experience within the construction industry
- Strong financial and management accounting knowledge
- Proven experience in job costing and project profitability analysis
- Experience using Sage Accounts
- Good understanding of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines independently
