Your new company is a boutique family office specialising in the management of portfolios for family and charitable trusts, offering a highly personalised and relationship‑driven service. The firm works closely with trustees and beneficiaries to preserve and grow capital over the long term, with a disciplined and considered approach to investment strategy.

Your new role is broad, including supporting the management of a portfolio of family and charitable trusts. The role combines day-to-day administration with trust accounting and tax responsibilities, working closely with senior team members to ensure compliance, accuracy and high service levels for trustees and beneficiaries.

Key Duties:
  • Managing day-to-day trust administration, including payments, income distributions and maintaining accurate records
  • Preparing trust accounts and supporting tax compliance, including income tax, CGT and IHT reporting
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, stockbrokers and other professional advisers, drafting correspondence as required
  • Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, cashflows and income payments across trust portfolios
  • Supporting wider trust operations, including beneficiary reporting, file management and ad hoc project work
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Knowledge of trust accounting systems such as CCH (Trust Accounts, Central, Viztopia and Accounts Production) effectively, with any exposure to US tax considered advantageous
  • Ideally, ACCA qualified (if you are qualified by experience please still get in touch)
