Hays Accountancy & Finance are supporting a growing organisation in Leeds that is undergoing an exciting period of change and development. Due to increased workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant on a 3-5 month temporary basis.
Your new role
Working as part of a busy finance team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Raising sales invoices
- Helping with commissioner queries
- Allocating incoming payments
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding debt and resolving payment queries
- Supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reports
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency with Excel and finance systems
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and work independently
