Your new role is broad, including supporting the management of a portfolio of family and charitable trusts. The role combines day-to-day administration with trust accounting and tax responsibilities, working closely with senior team members to ensure compliance, accuracy, and high service levels for trustees and beneficiaries.
Key Duties:
- Managing day-to-day trust administration, including payments, income distributions, and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing trust accounts and supporting tax compliance, including income tax, CGT, and IHT reporting
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, stockbrokers, and other professional advisers, drafting correspondence as required
- Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, cashflows, and income payments across trust portfolios
- Supporting wider trust operations, including beneficiary reporting, file management, and ad hoc project work
What you’ll need to succeed:
Knowledge of trust accounting systems such as CCH (Trust Accounts, Central, Viztopia, and Accounts Production) effectively, with any exposure to US tax considered advantageous.
