6-month contract Hybrid working pattern. Hays are currently recruiting a number of experienced Job Evaluators to join a high-profile programme on an interim 6-month contract. This is a pivotal opportunity to work at the centre of a large-scale job evaluation initiative, helping to ensure fair, transparent, and accurate role assessments that will shape the future organisational structure.

The Role

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a structured and consistent job evaluation process across the organisation. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, gather and refine job information, and help maintain momentum across a fast-paced, high-impact project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with managers and employees to obtain accurate, complete, and high-quality job information.
  • Support the preparation of job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, approach, and expectations across the organisation.
  • Monitor and chase progress throughout the evaluation cycle to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
  • Coordinate meetings, document actions, and keep stakeholders informed at all stages.
  • Support the wider Job Evaluation Team to drive delivery of a high-pressure, high-profile programme.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, target-driven team culture.
  • Maintain strong attention to quality assurance and data management.
