Your new role
As Assistant Tax Manager, you will support the Group Tax Manager in delivering accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting across the UK and worldwide. This is a varied and hands-on role spanning UK corporation tax, international tax support, transfer pricing, employment tax queries, VAT projects, and group reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing UK corporation tax computations and returns, including extraction and analysis of financial data.
- Assisting with international tax payment tracking and supporting schedules.
- Drafting responses to HMRC enquiries under manager guidance.
- Preparing year-end and interim tax reporting calculations.
- Preparing tax notes for UK statutory accounts.
- Helping with employment tax and global mobility queries in partnership with HR and external advisers.
