Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to help drive success and maintain exceptional client service.

Your New Role:

As an Audit Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse and high-value client portfolio and lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients with fees totalling approximately Β£500,000
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, ensuring deadlines and queries are managed effectively
  • Leading large and complex audits, offering practical solutions to partners
  • Identifying and managing firm-wide risks, including reputational and credit risks
  • Collating data for inspections, technical reviews, and audit-related enquiries
  • Monitoring timesheet entries for accuracy and appropriate coding
  • Ensuring audit teams stay within budget and time allocations
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients on all audit matters
  • Responding promptly to client queries and maintaining high service standards
  • Supporting business development through proposals, presentations, and networking

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing audit teams and client portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
  • Ability to implement audit methodologies and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Experience with both substantive and controls-based audits, group reporting, and cross-border engagements
  • Familiarity with accounting frameworks such as UK GAAP and FRS
