What you'll be doing:
- Supporting payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles
- Preparing payroll data including timesheets, starters/leavers, and basic adjustments
- Responding to payee queries and providing friendly, helpful customer service
- Assisting with statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and holiday pay
- Learning payroll systems - full training provided on in-house software
- Supporting compliance tasks including RTI submissions and basic HMRC liaison under supervision
What you'll bring:
- Some basic payroll experience (around 6-12 months)
- A basic understanding of payroll processes and statutory payments
- Good communication skills and a keen eye for accuracy
