Your new role Due to continued growth and a strong order book in the London area, our client is seeking an experienced QS or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. You will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with project teams to maximise commercial performance and manage contractual risk. Key responsibilities will include: Managing subcontract procurement and commercial agreements Preparing valuations, forecasts, CVRs and final accounts Managing variations and change control processes Supporting value engineering and design development initiatives Maintaining commercial reporting and risk management processes Mentoring and supporting junior commercial staff Working alongside pre-construction teams during tender stagesYou'll have the opportunity to work on some of London's most notable projects across the residential, healthcare and commercial sectors. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record delivering construction projects within the residential, healthcare, commercial or major project sectors. You will also possess: Strong commercial and contractual management experience Excellent CVR, forecasting and final account skills Experience managing subcontractor packages The ability to lead, mentor and develop junior team members Experience working on projects valued from £50m to £300m+ would be highly advantageous.
