Your new company is a well-established and growing manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Cheltenham, known for its strong reputation and consistent performance within the market. The company offers a supportive team environment and is looking to strengthen its finance function with a dedicated Finance Assistant.

Your new role involves supporting the day-to-day finance operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Carrying out bank and statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with supplier payment runs
  • Handling finance queries
  • Working with multiple currencies, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation across international transactions

This is a fully office-based, permanent position with an ASAP start, working 37.5 hours per week.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Experience working with multiple currencies
  • AAT Level 4 qualification (or working towards it) would be beneficial
  • Experience using Sage 200 would be highly desirable
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
