This is an amazing opportunity for a confident and capable payroll professional to join a multi-site organisation from their Carmarthenshire Head Office. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, structure and control, and who enjoys being the expert responsible for delivering a seamless, compliant and efficient payroll operation. You will personally manage the end-to-end payroll process.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Sole ownership of end-to-end payroll management for weekly and monthly cycles, including one-off and permanent adjustments.
  • Accurate administration of PAYE, NIC, pensions and statutory payments in line with HMRC requirements.
  • RTI submissions and reconciliation of payroll reports.
  • Maintaining GDPR-compliant payroll records and safeguarding sensitive employee information.
  • Managing payroll year-end processes including P60s, P11Ds, and statutory reporting.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for payroll queries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Liaising directly with pension providers to ensure correct deductions and timely submissions.
  • Reviewing and improving payroll procedures, controls and systems.
  • Supporting internal and external audits with accurate, timely payroll data.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating across Finance, HR and Operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
