Your new company is a well-established and growing organisation seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate billing and outstanding customer service.
Your new role involves reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, playing a key role in managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring invoices are accurately processed, payments are allocated correctly, and customer queries are resolved efficiently. Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and process daily and monthly customer invoices.
- Manage applications, invoicing and ensure billing is accurate.
- Check invoice documentation and approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments.
- Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts.
- Investigate and resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve billing issues.
- Produce regular Accounts Receivable reports.
- Support month-end processes, reconciliations and audits.
- Maintain and update query logs.
- Complete Accounts Receivable bank reconciliations.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Finance Administration role.
- Strong invoicing and payment allocation experience.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
