Hays Senior Finance have been appointed by a large and successful company in Wrexham to recruit a qualified Finance Manager for their growing team.

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading a team to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant general accounting activities, ensuring effective financial control, high-quality reporting, and adherence to company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
The role also supports team development, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
- Effectively lead, coach and develop a team of six - a mixture of Accounts Assistants to Management Accountants.
- Ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are achieved accurately, on time and to the required quality standards.
- Financial records remain compliant with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards.
- Monitor financial performance for multiple entities and profit centres.
- Management Accounts Preparation and Reporting for multiple entities.
- Lead and coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion of ledgers and accurate preparation of management accounts.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts reconciliations are prepared and approved.
- Present balance sheet positions at analytical review meetings with the Financial Controller, explaining key variances and identifying areas of concern.
- Coordinate budget and forecast submissions at balance sheet level, including trade working capital, tax, cash flow.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and external auditors to support completion of the audit process and timely sign-off of financial statements.
