With continued growth and investment across the business, they are looking to appoint a Personal Tax Manager. As a Personal Tax Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a substantial portfolio of approximately 350 personal tax clients, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered across all compliance and advisory requirements.
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including self-assessment compliance matters
Overseeing and supporting the delivery of Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and building long-term relationships
Providing ad hoc tax support and guidance to clients on a range of personal tax matters
Reviewing returns and ensuring compliance deadlines are met
Identifying opportunities to add value and assist clients with broader tax planning needs
Supporting junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the tax department
Applications from experienced Personal Tax Seniors looking to step into a management role will also be considered.
Previous experience managing personal tax compliance portfolios within an accountancy practice
Strong knowledge of self-assessment and personal tax compliance matters
ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA qualifications (or qualified by experience) would be advantageous
