A globally recognised media business is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its London finance team on an interim basis. Working within a high-performing finance function, you will support the delivery of year-end reporting, statutory accounts and audit requirements during a busy and important reporting period.
You will play a key role in supporting the year-end audit process and ensuring all statutory reporting obligations are met.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the year-end audit and acting as a key contact for external auditors.
- Preparing statutory accounts and supporting schedules.
- Producing reconciliations for significant balance sheet accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory filing requirements.
- Working closely with finance stakeholders across the wider business to deliver reporting deadlines.
What you will need to succeed:
- ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm.
- Previous audit experience gained in practice and/or industry.
- Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting audits and preparing statutory accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Available at short notice and seeking a 3-6 month interim assignment.
