Hays are delighted to be supporting an international manufacturing organisation based in Leamington Spa to recruit their next European Reporting Accountant. The company are market leaders in their field and is on a significant growth journey so this is a very exciting time to join.
Your new role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll hold responsibility for: Full-cycle accounting and statutory compliance for a number of legal entities.
European consolidation oversight and financial reporting coordination across Europe.
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
VAT compliance and reporting.
FP&A support for Head Office entities.
Acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a fully qualified, technically strong Accountant. This role would be an ideal first move from a larger Practice firm or an excellent industry role. The ideal candidate will ideally have exposure to European entities and a working knowledge of US GAAP. This is a standalone role reporting to an experienced Controller and will allow you to fully develop and make the role your own.
What you'll get in return
Hybrid working with 1 day WFH, a salary between £60000-70000 plus a potential 10% bonus. This is also a great role to develop your skills in industry.
