As a Trusts & Estates Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing a varied portfolio of UK trusts and estates, acting as a trusted adviser to clients while supporting the development of junior staff. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring the delivery of both compliance and advisory work. This will include overseeing the preparation and review of trust and estate tax returns, while providing technical advice across inheritance tax (IHT), capital gains tax (CGT), and income tax matters. You will support clients with trust structuring, succession planning, and estate administration, acting as a key point of contact to build and maintain strong relationships. In addition, you will contribute to business development initiatives, identify opportunities to grow the private client offering, and coach and mentor junior members of the team.
What you'll need to succeed:
- CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in trusts and estates tax within practice
- Strong technical knowledge of UK trust and personal taxation
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory projects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
