Reporting to the Tax Partner and other partners, the candidate will manage a team of 5 CTAs and 3 ATT trainees. They will oversee the profitable provision of the firm's tax compliance and advisory services and contribute to growing the firm's client base.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Oversee the tax compliance and advisory functions.
- Manage a client portfolio, providing high-quality service.
- Provide detailed tax advice on matters including:
- OMB tax planning
- Business sale, acquisition, and transactional matters
- CGT and IHT
- Employment-related securities
- Non-resident and non-domiciled tax planning/advice
- Tax enquiry work and review of Self Assessment tax returns, self-employed accounts, and rental accounts.
The candidate should be an excellent communicator, capable of establishing client confidence and expanding the tax practice. They should be self-motivated, energetic, and able to work independently to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant and CTA with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in both tax compliance and advisory work. Possessing both accountancy and tax qualifications is advantageous, given the firm's diverse workload.
