Syndicate Accountant

Job Description

The Lloyd's market remains busy, and we're keen to speak with experienced Syndicate Accountants looking for their next move is an opportunity to join a well-established insurance business where you'll take ownership of regulatory reporting, syndicate accounting and financial reporting activities, whilst helping drive improvements across the finance function. Based on responsibilities including Lloyd's regulatory returns, syndicate reporting, tax returns and financial control.

Key responsibilities:

• Lloyd's regulatory reporting (QMA, Solvency UK, US Situs and CAD Situs)
• Syndicate financial reporting
• Cash, overseas deposits and settlement journals
• Lloyd's tax returns
• Financial controls and process improvement
• Stakeholder management across Finance and the wider business

We're looking for:

• Lloyd's market experience
• Strong insurance accounting knowledge
• Experience producing regulatory returns
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive approach to improving finance processes and reporting

Ideal backgrounds:

• Syndicate Accountant
• Regulatory Reporting Accountant
• Insurance Reporting Accountant
• Financial Accountant (Lloyd's Market)
