Your new role
This is a varied position offering exposure to all aspects of practice accounting. The successful candidate will work closely with a portfolio of clients and be responsible for preparing accounts, tax returns and management information, whilst supporting clients with their day-to-day financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Preparation and submission of Corporation Tax returns
Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, directors and sole traders
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Reviewing bookkeeping records and maintaining accurate financial data
Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing accounting and tax support
Assisting clients with cloud accounting software and systems queries
Supporting the Partners with ad hoc projects and practice-related assignments
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a well-rounded practice professional who is comfortable working across accounts, tax and client advisory work.
Requirements
Ideally, you will be qualified. However, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates will be considered
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
Strong knowledge of accounts preparation
Experience preparing Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns
Experience producing management accounts
Good understanding of accounting principles and UK tax compliance
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
