A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice is seeking to appoint a Personal Tax professional to join its growing tax team. The firm has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality advisory and compliance services to a varied portfolio of private clients, business owners, directors and high-net-worth individuals.
Your New Role
Working as part of an experienced tax team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment tax returns.
- Managing personal tax compliance deadlines and ensuring timely submissions.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and responding to tax-related queries.
- Assisting with tax planning projects for individuals, business owners and directors.
- Reviewing tax computations and returns where appropriate.
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Supporting senior colleagues with ad-hoc advisory assignments.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The level of responsibility will be tailored according to your experience.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment.
- Strong personal tax compliance experience.
- Experience preparing Self-Assessment tax returns for a wide range of clients.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
