A highly successful and fast-growing independent advisory firm is looking to appoint a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and entrepreneurial business experiencing sustained growth, with a strong focus on client service, innovation and employee development.
Working closely with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and private clients, you will provide high-quality advisory support across a broad range of tax matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering proactive tax advice to owner-managed businesses, shareholders and private clients.
- Managing a range of complex advisory projects including restructuring, succession planning, share schemes and employee incentives.
- Advising on inheritance tax planning, trusts and estates matters.
- Supporting clients through HMRC enquiries and managing technical risk.
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the tax team.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm's tax offering.
What you'll need to succeed:
- To be successful in this role you will be CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified and have experience operating in a tax advisory-focused role.
- Strong experience advising owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients.
- Broad exposure across corporate, personal and shareholder tax matters.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- A commercial and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to support and develop junior team members.
