Temporary Senior Payroll Specialist £175-200p/d + holiday pay

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their busy team on an interim basis.
Duties include:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs on a monthly basis.
- Process regular wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other pay adjustments.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Generate and reconcile payroll reports, and provide ad-hoc reporting to management and other stakeholders.
- System Management:
- Configure and maintain payroll settings in Oracle Cloud.
- Implement system updates and improvements to enhance payroll processing efficiency.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all payroll transactions.
- Employee Support:
- Act as a point of contact for employee payroll enquiries and resolve any issues related to payroll.
- Assist employees with online changes to tax withholdings and direct deposit information.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
- Participate in special projects, such as system upgrades or payroll process improvements.
- Audits and Reconciliation:
- Coordinate and support payroll-related audits.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
What you need:
You will have extensive payroll experience, as well as working on an implementation of a new system previously. You will have experience of using the Oracle payroll system. You will be available immediately to start a new role.
