A leading PE-backed professional services business is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Accountant to support a critical reporting and finance transformation project directly with the Director of Accounting. You'll join a high-performing international finance team at a time of significant change, helping to improve reporting processes, strengthen controls and deliver key finance initiatives across a complex multi-entity environment.

This is a hands-on role combining technical accounting, financial reporting and finance transformation.

  • Support the delivery of statutory accounts and financial reporting activities
  • Analyse and interpret large financial datasets using Excel and finance systems
  • Perform balance sheet reviews, reconciliations and investigation work
  • Support accounting policy, process improvement and control enhancement projects
  • Work closely with finance leadership and international stakeholders to improve reporting quality and governance
  • Play a key role in finance transformation initiatives and systems-led change

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Big 4 or Top 10 audit-trained background preferred
  • Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
  • Immediately available or available at short notice
