Your new company

\n This is a rare opportunity for a commercially mined Senior Finance Manager to become the first dedicated finance hire within a fast-scaling Luxury Retail business.

Reporting directly into the leadership team, you will take ownership of building the finance function from the ground up, implementing robust financial processes, controls, systems and reporting infrastructure to support the company's ambitious growth plans.

Operating in a hands-on capacity, you will oversee everything from month-end and cash flow management to budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision support.

\n As the business continues to expand, you will play a key role in shaping the finance function, driving operational efficiencies, and ultimately building and leading a high-performing finance team.

This role would suit an entrepreneurial finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating structure, influencing decision-making, and scaling businesses through periods of significant growth.

  • \n Reporting into the leadership team, your responsibilities will include: \n \n
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and board‑level reporting, including detailed variance analysis \n
  • Ownership of month‑end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting \n
  • Producing P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting \n
  • Develop KPI reporting \n
  • Ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping \n
  • Business partnering with non‑finance stakeholders to support performance and decision‑making \n
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles \n
  • Building financial models \n
  • Scenario analysis \n
  • Manage end-to-end payroll and manage VAT returns \n
  • Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability \n
  • Delivering ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to support commercial and strategic initiatives \n
  • Playing an active role in supporting the ongoing growth of the business \n \n
  • What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified \n
  • Experience within SME and scaling environments \n
  • Experience implementing and improving finance processes \n
  • Ideally from a Retail, Manufacturing, Hospitality or Leisure company (bonus if it's in the luxury space) \n
  • Willingness to be in an all-rounder role \n
  • A confident communicator with a commercial mindset \n
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems \n
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach and the ability to operate confidently in a growing environment \n \n
