Your new role
As a Senior Consultant in the Employment Taxes team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality advisory services to a prestigious client portfolio. You'll work on complex projects in a fast-changing legislative environment, supporting clients with compliance, risk management, and strategic planning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on employment tax issues, including remuneration structures, benefits, and expenses
- Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries, disputes, and compliance reviews
- Assisting with due diligence on corporate transactions and identifying employment tax risks
- Researching case law and applying legislation to client scenarios
- Drafting technical advice and correspondence for clients and HMRC
- Participating in client meetings and leading discussions where appropriate
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development
- Identifying business development opportunities and supporting proposals
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong technical knowledge of employment tax legislation
- Professional qualification (ACA, CTA, ATT) or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Commercial awareness and confidence in client-facing situations
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge
