Your new company is a leading international organisation operating within the renewable energy and major infrastructure sector. Backed by global energy stakeholders, the business is delivering large-scale, capital-intensive projects across the UK, supported by a strong pipeline of both operational assets and future developments. With a focus on complex, long-term investments, the organisation is playing a key role in the transition to sustainable energy while offering exposure to high-profile, technically challenging projects within a collaborative and internationally connected environment.

Your new role as Project Finance Manager involves supporting a broad range of corporate finance activities across a growing project portfolio. You will manage relationships with lenders and external financing partners, contributing to key decisions around capital structure, funding strategy, and investment execution. Responsibilities include overseeing financial modelling across multiple project financings and investment transactions, coordinating the structuring and raising of finance for new projects, and preparing detailed financial materials to support engagement with lenders and investors.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across finance, legal, tax, technical, and commercial functions, playing a central role in delivering financing transactions from inception through to execution. Additionally, you will support the negotiation and review of financing documentation, analyse market conditions and funding options to optimise financing strategies, and contribute to refinancing and transaction activities, including due diligence and stakeholder coordination.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong background in project finance, ideally within the energy or wider infrastructure sector. A degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering is required, alongside at least five years of relevant professional experience in a project finance environment. You will demonstrate advanced Excel-based financial modelling skills, strong commercial awareness, and a solid understanding of financial and economic principles. Experience working on complex infrastructure or energy projects is essential, while knowledge of project finance structuring, renewable energy economics, and UK tax or accounting practices will be advantageous.

You will be a proactive self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and effective communication are key, along with fluency in English both written and spoken.

In return, you will join a high-performing and globally connected organisation operating at the forefront of renewable energy and infrastructure investment. The role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-value projects and gain exposure to complex financial transactions within a growing and strategically important sector. Based in Edinburgh, this position provides a strong platform for career progression while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
