Your new company
I am currently working with a global consultancy company based in London that is looking for a Project Accountant Manager for a 9-month MAT cover. This role will play a key part in handling projects, analysing the profitability, working closely with the Head of FP&A and managing a small team.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities of the role include –
- Responsible for key projects, providing budgeting and forecasting processes, analysing the profitability of the projects
- Providing updates to the Head of FP&A on the projects – current situation, end of month profitability, analysing where they are against targets and actions
- Responsible for leading a finance team, providing mentorship and development
- Being able to challenge current budget assumptions
- Responsible for monthly reporting, making sure the financial framework is adhered to and performance is on track
What you'll need to succeed
- Looking for a qualified accountant, ideally having consultancy experience but open on industry experience
- Previous project accounting experience especially around profitability analysis
- Stakeholder management experience
- Team management – managed at least 1 person before
- Previous ERP system experience, SAGE would be ideal
- Great communication, planning and delivering results while having a high level of energy
