Our client provides support and services in the Cheshire Area in the public sector, they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to start immediately on a temp assignment on a 6 months assignment with the potential to extend.
You will be responsible for BAU tasks while the current team are completing a new finance system implementation, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, reporting and analysis of variances.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Part qualified ACCA / CIMA or AAT Qualified / QBE
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Preparation of management accounts
- Ability to analyse
- Excel: pivot table / vlook ups
- Public Sector Experience (Desirable)
