Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant in Peterborough

With a large and growing operation, the organisation has a centralised finance function that provides support across multiple locations. You'll be joining a collaborative and professional finance team with a strong focus on delivering accurate financial information, improving processes and supporting wider operational teams. As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information while working closely with Finance Business Partners and key stakeholders. Producing accurate monthly management accounts and supporting reports Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Investigating and resolving queries relating to monthly accounts Working closely with Finance Business Partners and operational stakeholders Ensuring accounting policies and procedures are followed Supporting the Financial Accounts team during the annual audit Assisting with the financial onboarding of new sites Supporting process improvements across the finance function Providing ad hoc financial support to the wider finance team You will be AAT qualified, or equivalent, and ideally continuing your studies towards a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA. You will have good management accounting knowledge, including experience with month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be confident using Excel and able to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
