This is a great opportunity to join a well-established practice as a Mixed Tax Senior in Warrington which is focussed on helping individuals, families and businesses with their tax, trusts, and accounting affairs. You will be joining a firm which offers strategic advice and a friendly environment that enables its clients to protect their wealth for future generations.
Your new role
Working closely with the Tax Director as part of a team that delivers high-quality tax services to a range of both Personal, Trust and Corporate Clients, you will become an integral member of the firm with a view to career progression, whilst building on existing technical skills and client relationships.
- Completion of UK and Jersey Personal Tax Returns for your own portfolio of clients consisting of HNWIs / Partners, Directors and Self-Employed.
- Completion of Trust Returns
- Completion of Corporation Tax Returns for both UK and Jersey Resident Companies
- Completion of P11D's and ATED returns
- Dealing with general queries from clients and HMRC
- Assisting with advisory work
- Managing own WIP and raising fee notes for portfolio of clients
- Liaising with other departments within the office.
What you'll need to succeed
- Good working knowledge of personal tax and trusts, ideally CTA qualified, but could be qualified by experience
- Knowledge of CCH Central an advantage
- Proactive at managing existing client relationships and developing new ones
- Adaptable, organised and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Flexible approach to work - a pitch in to support other departments if needed
