Your new company
\n A fast-growing and ambitious consumer-led business based in Manchester is looking to appoint a Finance Analyst into its expanding finance team. Following continued growth, this is a newly created position offering the opportunity to join an evolving finance function and play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making.
Your new role
\n Working closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders across the business, you'll provide analysis and insight to help understand performance, identify trends and support strategic decision-making. You'll assist with budgeting and forecasting, analyse revenue, costs and profitability, produce regular management information and help explain key variances against budget and forecast. You'll also work with non-finance teams to improve reporting, develop KPIs and provide meaningful insight into business performance. As a newly created role, there will be plenty of opportunity to shape reporting, improve processes and develop the position as the business continues to grow.
What you'll need to succeed
\n You'll ideally be a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant, with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in commercial finance. You'll be confident working with large datasets and Excel, with the ability to turn financial information into clear commercial insight. You'll also be proactive, inquisitive and comfortable building relationships with stakeholders outside of finance. Experience within a fast-paced, consumer, retail or e-commerce environment would be beneficial but isn't essential.
