Management Accountant | Construction | COINS

Job Description Your new company /n /n I am currently working with a well-established construction and infrastructure business with a strong presence across the UK and a reputation for delivering complex projects across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a newly qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to develop their career within a commercial, project-focused environment. /n /n Your new role /n As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for: /n /n - Producing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary. /n - Supporting month-end reporting, including journals, accruals and prepayments. /n - Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances. /n - Working closely with operational teams to support project performance reporting. /n - Analysing project costs, revenues and profitability across multiple contracts. /n - Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities. /n - Using COINS extensively for financial reporting and project accounting. /n - Assisting with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting. /n - Providing financial insights to support business decision-making. /n - Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls. /n /n /n What you'll need to succeed /n You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), ideally with previous management accounting experience in the construction, engineering or project-based sectors.
