Your new company Hays are partnering with a well-established, international organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager into a newly available leadership position. Operating across multiple countries and legal entities, the business offers a fast-paced and collaborative environment, with payroll playing a key role in supporting a diverse workforce across the EMEA region.
Your new role As Payroll Manager, EMEA, you will take ownership of end-to-end payroll operations across a complex multi-country environment, ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly and on time. Working closely with HR, Finance, external payroll providers and in-country stakeholders, you will oversee outsourced payroll delivery, strengthen controls and compliance, drive process improvements and support wider business initiatives. The role also includes leadership responsibility for a Payroll Coordinator and offers the opportunity to influence payroll strategy and service delivery across the region.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you'll have proven experience managing payroll across multiple EMEA countries within a complex international organisation. You'll possess strong knowledge of payroll compliance, governance and outsourced payroll management, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Experience leading teams, driving continuous improvement, managing payroll controls and reconciliations, and working with large-scale, multi-entity payrolls will be essential. Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach are also key. Experience with ADP software is essential.
