Your new company A growing Lloyd's market insurance business is seeking an experienced Finance Advisory Lead to join its Syndicate Finance function on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, this role will play a key part in supporting governance, reporting, controls and strategic finance initiatives across the business.
Your new role Reporting into the Head of CFO Advisory, you will support a range of high-profile projects across Syndicate Finance.
Responsibilities will include enhancing financial governance and control frameworks, reviewing accounting treatments and technical accounting matters, supporting board and committee reporting, reviewing risks and controls, and working closely with finance, risk and actuarial stakeholders on business-critical initiatives.
You will also support regulatory and reporting requirements whilst helping to strengthen finance processes and controls within a growing environment.
What you'll need to succeed ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified accountant Demonstrable Lloyd's market experience Strong technical insurance accounting knowledge Experience of financial reporting and regulatory reporting Good understanding of Lloyd's, PRA and FCA reporting requirements Exposure to Solvency II / Solvency UK reporting Experience of financial controls, governance and process improvement Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and present technical matters clearly Experience within Syndicate Finance, Reporting or Regulatory Reporting functions is highly advantageous.
