/n An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Financial Controller to join a high-growth FMCG business based in London. Operating across multiple channels, this well-established brand has experienced significant growth and continues to strengthen its market presence through innovation, product development and strategic expansion.
/n Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to lead a talented finance team whilst partnering with key stakeholders across the business.

Your new role
/n As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial control whilst supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
/n
Key responsibilities will include:
/n
/n
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team
/n
- Managing the month-end and year-end close process
/n
- Overseeing statutory reporting and audit requirements
/n
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards
/n
- Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
/n
- Driving improvements in financial controls, processes and systems
/n
- Business partnering with senior leadership teams across operations, sales and commercial functions
/n
- Providing insightful analysis to support strategic business decisions
/n
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and working capital requirements
/n
- Supporting finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
/n
/n
What you'll need to succeed
/n
/n
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
/n
- Previous Financial Controller experience within FMCG, consumer goods, retail or a fast-paced product-led environment
/n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial controls experience
/n
- Proven people management experience
/n
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills
/n
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment
/n
- Experience driving process improvements and enhancing reporting capabilities
/n
/n

Package includes:
