Financial and Management Accountant in Liverpool

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, SME privately owned business in a broad and influential finance role. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong controls, and supporting business decision-making across multiple companies. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while producing timely and accurate financial reporting. Producing monthly and consolidated management accounts Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations Managing cash flow forecasting, banking relationships and supplier payments Overseeing VAT returns, fixed assets and statutory reporting Liaising with auditors and finance providers Providing financial analysis and reporting to Directors and business owners Experience producing management accounts Strong month-end and financial reporting knowledge Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional seeking a broad role with autonomy, responsibility and direct exposure to senior decision-makers.
