A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Liverpool is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team. Your new role
\n
As a Corporate Tax Senior, you'll be responsible for managing a varied workload across corporate tax compliance while also gaining exposure to wider advisory and project work responsibilities will include:

- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for a range of clients, including UK and overseas groups
- Advising clients on corporation tax payments
- Supporting the wider accounts and audit teams with corporate tax matters
- Preparing tax figures for inclusion within statutory accounts
- Assisting with R&D tax relief claims
- Liaising with HMRC and other third parties
- Supporting larger tax projects, including capital allowances claims
- Undertaking technical research into different areas of tax legislation

What you'll need to succeed
\n
You'll ideally have 3-4 years' corporate tax experience, with the ability to prepare corporation tax computations for SME clients independently. You'll also have a good understanding of company accounts and be comfortable managing your own workload and deadlines. You'll be someone who is keen to develop technically and enjoys working collaboratively within a wider tax and accountancy team, you'll be part ACA/ACCA qualified or ATT qualified, although experience and suitability for the role will also be important.
