As the UK arm of a global business listed on the US stock exchange, they employ a large team of accountants out of the UK head office based in Liverpool. The company has a number of different subsidiaries, providing a complex and interesting background for this new vacancy of Financial Accountant.
As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Consolidation of monthly UK accounts including Income Statement and Balance Sheet (US GAAP)
- Preparation of UK statutory accounts under FRS102
- Corporation tax computation preparation
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Ad hoc reporting for other stakeholders including banking, pension trustees, Group Finance team
- Commercial support to UK Divisional Heads of Finance at month end
- Packaging waste and plastic packaging tax compliance
